A few pages of explanatory text can be found in the 1st and 4th booklets the rest of the manuscript includes only mathematical calculations involving polynomials, square roots, equations, trigonometric functions, derivatives, differentials and integrals. The text consists of a succession of mathematical and physics problems studied by Fabre. The text is illustrated by a series of drawings in the 4th notebook. The illustration is composed of 18 carefully executed geometric drawings in the 4th notebook, as well as numerous mathematical or geometric sketches inserted throughout the text: logarithmic spiral, parabola, ellipse, cycloid, curves, polygons, etc. respectively), 1 booklet in sheets (36 pp.) and a set of separate sheets preserved in an old folder (122 pp.). It consists of 4 bound notebooks (94, 85, 93 and 50 pp. IMPORTANT MANUSCRIPT OF FABRE'S WORK, SHOWING HIS PASSION FOR MATHEMATICAL AND PHYSICAL SCIENCES.
